In Moldova, the National Wine Day celebrates the grape harvest and the best wine from Moldova.
The Moldova wine festival, officially named „National Wine Day”, takes place in Chisinau during the first weekend in October at the end of the grape harvest. The 2014 festival, the 13th edition, was celebrated on 4-5 October at the National Assembley Square in the center of Chisinau.
